Does the Capitalize for Kids Investors Conference qualify for CE credits?
Yes – CFA Society Toronto has determined that this program qualifies for 8 CE credit hours under the guidelines of the CFA Institute Continuing Education Program. CFA Institute members can self-document credit in their records using the online CE tracking tool.
What is the best way to arrive at the Conference?
Parking: The Arcadian Court is located on the corner of Bay and Queen Streets. We suggest that you park at the Green P parking lot at Nathan Phillips Square.
Enter a set of doors on the south east corner of Bay and Queen labelled The Simpson Tower (Arcadian Court). The event is located on the 8th floor.
How do I register for the Capitalize for Kids Investors Conference?
Registration is now open! Limited Tickets are available.
During the registration process you can choose to purchase one (1) individual seat or one (1) table of ten (10) seats. Following payment for the purchase of your table of 10 seats, you will receive an email providing an access code to register your 10 additional table guests. All table attendees must register individually to confirm their seat at the purchased table.
What is the estimated Tax Deductible amount to be claimed?
The proceeds of the Capitalize for Kids Investors Conference will be directed to the highest priority needs in the field of children’s brain and mental health.
Corporate payments are fully tax deductible. You will receive a receipt upon completion of your registration.
Personal payments for registration are partially tax deductible and based on maximum allowable amounts under CRA (Canada Revenue) rules and guidelines. In the past approximately 80% of the ticket price is receiptable.
You will be asked during registration to indicate if you would like to receive a personal tax receipt. A receipt will be emailed to you shortly after completing your registration [and payment has been received].
What is included in my registration?
Your registration includes full access to all presentations and meals including breakfast, lunch, breaks, and any evening receptions.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is business attire. In order to gain access to presentations, meals and/or receptions your name badge must be worn and visible.
What is the policy on photography, recording and social media?
The taking of photographs, video recordings or audio recordings at the conference is strictly prohibited. All materials presented at the conference are the intellectual property of the Capitalize for Kids Investors Conference or the individual presenters.
Please note – during the conference photographs and video will be taken which may be used in future conference promotion.
How can I make a hotel reservation?
We have secured a room block at two hotels.
- The One King West Hotel at the conference rate of $329/night [plus applicable taxes]. The hotel is a 7-minute walk to the venue.
- The Adelaide Hotel at the conference rate of $425/night [plus applicable taxes]. The hotel is a 3-minute walk to the venue.
